Download Cocon-BIM
- Windows
- Download the Windows application
- Log in with "administrator" privileges.
- Double-click the Cocon icon.
- If Cocon cannot be launched, configure your antivirus or the Windows SmartScreen protection to accept it.
- The software is then displayed into free "demo" mode.
- Enter your email, licence code and password for full display mode.
- Apple - Macintosh
- Download the Apple Macintosh application
- If necessary, log in to the computer with "administrator" privileges.
- Double-click the Cocon icon.
- Authorise the application to open.
- The software is then displayed into free "demo" mode..
- Enter your email, licence code and password for full display mode.
- Other platforms or special cases : Manual installation (see above)
Licence code, password, proxy
The software starts by default in free "demo" mode.
To access all the functionalities, in the menu "Help => Licence...", enter your customer information
- customer email address
- licence code
- password
- if necessary (in organisations where the internet connection is via a proxy), enter the following information (provided by your network manager) :
- proxy address
- proxy port number
Minimum system requirements
- Minimum screen resolution : 1280 * 768 pixels.
- A mouse is recommended for 3D BIM manipulation.
- Compatible operating systems :
- WINDOWS versions 7, 8, 8.1 or 10
- MAC OS X, version 10.9.5 or later
- RAM : at least 8 GB, 16 GB preferred.
- Antivirus
- If your antivirus blocks new software installation, either :
- disable the antivirus during installation, or
- perform a manual installation.
- Java 8
- Unless it is already present, JAVA is installed automatically during installation on Windows or Macintosh.
Installing and launching Cocon on Apple Macintosh
- Download the application in .dmg format (e.g. Cocon-bim_3.5.0.dmg).
- Double-click the application’s icon.
- In the Security pane of your System preferences, authorise Cocon to run using the procedure applications from an unindentified developper.
Manual installation
1. If Java 8 is not already installed on the computer, install (with administrator privileges) JAVA SE runtime version 8 (preferably 64 bits)
- WINDOWS - version 64 bits (recommended)
- WINDOWS - version 32 bits

2. Download Cocon-bim.
3. Unzip the downloaded file in your chosen folder.
4. Run the software by double-clicking on the "Cocon-BIM_x.y.z.jar" file in the cocon-bim folder.
