E+C- Energy-Carbon certification
The Cocon application carries out Life-Cycle Analysis (LCA) in accordance with the E+C- (Carbon-Energy) label which prefigures the RE2020 environmental regulations.
The Cocon application uses digital models (2D or 3D) of buildings (BIM) in Ifc2x3 or Ifc4 format. These digital models (BIMs) may have been:
- exported from one of the main software applications on the market, or
- created manually by importing a metric in excel format or equivalent.
After entering the composition of the building elements (and of any technical installations) of a project, an environmental study complying with the E+C- label is carried out in six very simple successive steps:
